Destiny Children have been offered space in a shipping conta
iner and are providing DGS with second hand items urgently needed by the school.
One of our sponsors has a contact who is converting a container into mechanics workshops, shipping it to Mombasa at the end of May 2011, and then running vocational training courses for disadvantaged boys. He has agreed that any spare space can be filled with educational resources for charity schools in Mombasa.
We have now collected enough items to fill 27 packing cases and our grateful thanks go to all our supporters and friends, and also to -

The 27 cases contain the following number of items -

Unfortunately the conversion of the shipping container was delayed but it was finally loaded up with boxes for DGS and other schools in Mombasa on 28th July. It is expected to set sail during the weekend of 30th July 2011.
